Introduction

AVUTEC, based in Breda, Netherlands, is a specialized manufacturer of advanced Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) camera systems. We design and develop both the hardware and software, including the recognition technology, ensuring a fully integrated solution. Our cameras are used across various sectors where ANPR plays a key role, including access control, smart cities, logistics & mobility, and car wash systems.

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of the software that powers our advanced camera systems. In this role, you will work with technologies like C#, Azure, and Blazor, developing cloud-based solutions that seamlessly integrate with our hardware. You’ll be part of a small, agile team where collaboration and efficiency are key. What will you do

  • Develop and maintain robust applications using Blazor.
  • Collaborate across hardware and software disciplines to enhance and extend our product capabilities.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and testing.
  • Ensure high-quality code through code reviews and adherence to development best practices.
  • Work on cloud-based and IoT-related projects as needed.

Who are we looking for

  • Strong experience in .NET development, particularly with Blazor.
  • Understanding of modern web development practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure experience is a big plus).
  • Interest in IoT device integration (nice to have).
  • Currently residing within commuting distance of Breda, Netherlands.
  • EU citizenship or valid work authorization for the Netherlands (visa sponsorship is not available).
