Using real-time license plate recognition directly connected to Symmetry Access Control and the AMAG access control panels, this integration automates the management of vehicle entry and exit. This collaboration not only enhances security by allowing access only to authorized vehicles but also optimizes the process, making it more efficient and quicker.
The Symmetry integration
AVUTEC developed a specialized software module, the SymmetryAxon, which runs directly on the ANPR camera. The SymmetryAxon is linked to the Symmetry software suite, enabling real-time communication with the Symmetry database and the access control panels.
As a vehicle approaches the gate, the camera captures and scans the license plate, triggering an immediate search within the Symmetry database.
Once the camera system retrieves the corresponding badge ID, it generates a Wiegand signal, which is sent to the control panel to allow or deny access.
