Configure Symmetry The AVUTEC ANPR camera reads the license plate of a vehicle and initiates a search within the Symmetry database. When a match is found it generates a 37-bit Wiegand for authorized individuals to enter or exit the perimeter. The Wiegand signal is send to a Symmetry Controller.
The camera acts like a card reader and can be treated the same. The camera is compatible with every Symmetry Controller.
1.The Symmetry MS SQL server needs to be accessible for the camera.
2.The specified user in the database settings requires read permissions on the following tables: CardHolderPersonalDataXrTable CardInfoTable
3.The specified user in the database settings requires write permissions on the following table: TxnImportTable
4.Unknown license plates (those not present in the database) are written to the TxnImportTable.
5.The license plates are stored in CardHolderPersonalDataXrTable.PersonalDataItem.
6.Do not use special characters or spaces, nor include country codes. Multiple license plates can be listed consecutively with a space in between. For example: 59XFL1 82MDV3
7. If the license plate is found in the CardHolderPersonalDataXrTable, the Facility/site code and the CardNumber are retrieved from the CardHolderPersonalDataXrTable. From there, a 37-bit Wiegand signal is generated.
