The Bookzo reservation system together with AVUTEC’s ANPR camera, enable guests with authorized license plates to enjoy effortless entry to hotel parking or holiday parks for the duration of their stay.
The Bookzo integration
In the integration with the Bookzo reservation system, the ANPR camera functions as a smart lock, using the license plate as the access token—much like a card or QR code in traditional access systems. Bookzo maintains the list of authorized license plates linked to reservations.
When a guest books a stay at a hotel or holiday park, their license plate is added to the reservation. As the vehicle approaches, the camera recognizes the plate and communicates, via web service, with the Bookzo system to verify access rights. If approved, the camera’s relay function automatically opens the gate, ensuring secure and seamless entry.
This integration offers a fully automated access solution for parking areas, combining advanced technology with intuitive operation to enhance both security and guest convenience.
