This integration leverages the camera’s web service module to send a POST request, effectively triggering the barrier to open upon license plate recognition. The Advantech integration
The Gatekeeper-X and Module-X are designed to recognize license plates efficiently. Each of our camera models is equipped with a standard web service module, the WebserviceAxon. Upon recognizing a license plate, the camera sends a POST request to the ADAM 6000 series IoT Ethernet IO modules.
The ADAM module then triggers the barrier to open, providing a seamless and automated access control solution. Our cameras ensure that only authorized vehicles gain access by maintaining an on-device whitelist or by verifying credentials with third-party systems such as access control systems, reservation systems, or logistics platforms. This flexibility allows for seamless integration into various security and operational workflows, ensuring that vehicle access is both secure and efficient.
