The Brivo integration

Wiegand – As a vehicle approaches the secured gate of a parking area, the camera scans its license plate. Once the license plate is identified, the ANPR camera hashes the license plate in the Brivo card format. Subsequently, it generates a Wiegand signal and sends it to the Brivo control panel. The control panel takes care of the au­thorisation and will open the gate only for an au­thorized license plate to enter or exit the perim­eter.

OSDP – Next to Wiegand, the Module-X is compatible with the OSDP protocol to ensure advanced and secure communcation between the ANPR reader and the control panel to the latest standards.

The Brivo Wiegand calculator is the conversion tool developed to hash a license plate to a 26-bits Wiegand signal compatible with Brivo access control systems.
